Welcome to our Web Site, we appreciate your visit.

I started my little shop for two purposes; 1) to offer Long-Arm quilting for the quilters that love to piece, but don't have the time to put the finishing touches by hand quilting their beautiful work, and 2) to offer classes that teach the technique of piecing quilts and the feeling of awe and accomplishment one gets once they see the ease the quilts go together.

A bit about how my quilting habit started. When I was little, I had an Aunt that quilted and I loved when we went there and she always brought out the quilts for me to look at. I believe I was 12 or 13 when I purchased one of her quilts, it was a simple flannel square block comforter type that was tied, but it had a wool blanket for the batting and flannel back. I took that quilt home and put it in a cedar chest then used it on our bed after we were married. We had very little money at that time but we had a quilt from my Aunt. My husbands' Grandmother (Grandma Cecil) hand-quilted and she did beautiful work so there was always a new quilt to look at and admire at her place also. She also pieced many many quilts. Then in about 1988 there was a Quilt In A Day? Log Cabin quilt class offered in our area. Long story short, I went and was hooked. I made a long twin size quilt for our son who was 10 at the time, letting him pick out the fabric he wanted since it was his quilt. The quilt turned out beautiful. Grandma Cecile hand quilted it for him. The quilt is now in a state of much needed repair because David used it and loved it for years. I didn't get to piece to many quilts for a few years due to the activities the kids were in. I have been able to get involved more in recent years and am just excited about sharing my love for the art of quilting.

Our classes are being taught by Carol Ginter from Harrod OH. Carol has been quilting and teaching for many years and is great to work with. Carol is also a Long-Arm quilter and has worked with me to teach the techniques of reading a quilt, etc. Carol was also involved in getting a quilt club started in Lima, the West Central Ohio Quilt Guild and the retreat that is held every year. I have a 14' Gammil? long-arm machine with the Statler Stitcher?. When deciding where to start my business, my husband Mike volunteered to vacate part of his workshop and remodel it for me. WHAT A SWEETHEART HE IS!! I have plenty of space for 10 to 12 class participants. The shop is well lit, smoke and animal free. I carry a few notions, mostly for convenience for the classes with the hopes that will change as the business grows.

Please be sure to check out our class schedule then plan on joining us. We have an open sew the last Saturday of every month for all those UFO projects you have.
